The top has a central oval inlaid with a classical urn set into a satinwood background which is banded with ebony and inlaid with a chevron pattern border. This in turn is banded with mahogany and cross-banded with tulipwood.

Below, the frieze has a similar urn inlaid with an urn in the centre and flanked by satinwood panels with matching chevron pattern inlay. The four square tapering legs have oval panels of burr wood at the top and bandaged toes with circular burr wood panels below.
