A George I Burr Walnut Side Table
The rectangular top, with re-entrant corners, book matched veneers, herring-bone inlay and cross-banding, is a warm golden colour and sits above a concave shaped frieze with a drawer to the front and four cabriole legs terminating in pad feet.
The table is richly patinated and benefits enormously from carefully selected burr veneers which are highly figured.
