A Regency Period Amboyna Centre Table

Height: 28" 72.5cm
Diameter: 52" 132cm

The circular top veneered in extremely well figured amboyna and having a thin frieze with a gilded line on the table edge. The top supported on a triangular column, similarly veneered in amboyna, and enhanced by gilded mouldings. The column is in turn supported by a platform base which stand on gilded bun feet.

The table of the very finest quality and bearing a striking similarity both in terms of design and quality to the work of Seddon and Morel for Windsor Castle.
