The cabinet retaining its original ormolu gallery above a breakfront rosewood top. Below, the centre section with two fabric paneled doors opening to reveal adjustable shelving stained to imitate the rosewood veneers used on the exterior of the cabinet. The centre section flanked by open adjustable bookshelves.

The cabinet supported on reeded bun feet, with each foot below a moulded pilaster and carved volute. Also having a gadrooned moulding to the frieze and the base of the cabinet.
