A Fine and Rare PAIR of Regency Period Rosewood End-Support Tables By Gillows
Height: 28.5" 72cm Each having a well figured and finely faded rectangular top with 'butterfly' corners and supported on curved end supports with applied reeded mouldings and encasing three spindle turned columns. The legs terminate in the original chased brass castors. English, 1820 The design of these tables is almost identical to one supplied by Gillow of Lancaster November 8th 1818 to Ferguson & Co at a cost of £5 15s 4d
