The etagere combines golden coloured and highly figured amboyna wood with ebony to great effect. The top tier retains its original ormolu gallery and finials and is supported on turned columns with gilded flutes and ormolu beeding. Each tier is inlaid with ebony borders and the piece stands on turned and tapering feet with original castors.
