A Rare Victorian "Huntsman and Hound" Cast Iron Stick / Umbrella Stand, Probably by W.H. Micklethwait Foundry.

With painted decoration, cast as a standing huntsman holding out a whip in a curve in front of him as the retainer, with hound up on hind legs to his side on a curved front base cast with branches and a central mask, fitted with a divided drip tray.
