SOLD - An Attractive and Very Rare Pair of Nineteenth Century Chinese Export Black and Gold Lacquer Three-Fold Screens

The screens, of Chinese origin, are decorated with various pastoral scenes before an extensive landscape with trees and pagodas. Both screens are bordered by a number of Chinese dragons whilst the reverses are decorated with floral motifs. The screens display extensive attention to detail and are in superb condition which is most unusual.
