A George III Oval Brass Bound Tray
This extraordinarily fine example has a double brass bound gallery with scrolling brass handles. The oval base with a central inlaid shell from which radiating panels of mahogany are seperated by double inlaid linesbefore ending in harewood lunettes. There is then a further band of satinwood crossbanding into which are inlaid bell -flowers.
This quality of the workmanship on this tray is superbly, it is also a rich colour and in very good condition.
