A George III Carved Gilt-Wood Mirror

This well drawn mirror is composed of a series of 'C' scrolls embellished with foliage and flower-heads. The plate divided, as was so often the case due to the difficulty in making large pieces of glass, and framed by pillars, trailing flora and rocaille.
