Either for the pieces themselves, their origins or the collections in which they have been placed. An Expanding Circular Dining Table by Robert JupeA Highly Important Nineteenth century circular expanding patent dining table. The mahogany dining table constructed in superbly figured and faded mahogany. The revolving 'capstan' top having two sets of original insertion leaves allowing for three different sized tables. The top supported on a turned vase shaped column with foliate carving above a platform base, itself supported on four scrolled carved feet.
