The rectangular top inlaid with a finch amongst scrolling leaves within an oyster inlaid oval with bird and scrolling leaf decoration to the spandrels. Below are two short and three long drawers similarly inlaid and retaining their original chased handles. The sides decorated with oyster veneers.

This extraordinary chest is in remarkably original condition and is of the most superb colour, patination and quality.
