A Fine and Rare George III Satinwood & Marquetry Bonheur du Jour

The bonheur du jour of superb colour, patination and quality. The raised superstructure having a shaped cornice with an inlaid central classical urn medallion flanked by bell flowers above a four tier open bookshelf and two cupboard doors with finely inlaid oval panels of ribbons and flowers on a harewood background.

The serpentine fronted lower section with floral marquetry to the top, drawer fronts and sides. Standing on four square tapering legs with inlaid paterae to the top and bottom of each leg and interlaced ribbon motif between.
