An Early Regency Period Cut Glass & Ormolu Chandelier

The six light chandelier has a baluster stem centred by a tapered urn and supporting a canopy with pear drops above a smaller pan hung with chains of pear-drop drapery. The central bowl supporting six candle arms each with a drop hung mitre cut and scalloped edged drip pan with diamond band candle nozzles. From the arms are suspended chains of pear drop drapery. Below the bowl is a further canopy with chains of pear drops and a lapidary cut finial.
