A George II Walnut Armchair

The chair is superbly carved in walnut which has developed a golden colour. The seat back has a carved head-rail above a splat designed with interlaced strap-work. The arms scroll outwards and are also carved. The chair is now upholstered in Eighteenth century needlework and stands on carved cabriole legs.
