An Early George III Chippendale Period Carved Mahogany Lowboy
The table has a rectangular top with a gadrooned edge over one long drawer and two short drawers which flank a kneehole centre section. The table has carved blind fretwork down each leg, which terminate in block feet, and carved fretwork spandrels which are particularly detailed. The table is a wonderful golden colour and richly patinated.

Whilst not possible to firmly attribute this piece as yet, a comparison is worth making to a kneehole desk by William Shreeve illustrated in Marked London Furniture.
