A George II Burr Walnut Kneehole Chest
The chest has a cross-banded top with an additional herring-bone banding above one long drawer and two banks of three smaller drawers flanking a recessed cupboard door. Each drawer retains its original handles and escutcheons and like the top, each has a herring-bone and cross-banded border. The chest stands on original bracket feet and is a most superb colour which has developed a wonderful depth of patination.
