
A George III Carved Gilt- Wood Mirror
Reference: 9F349
The mirror plate flanked by reeded columns with ribbon decoration and acanthus leaf capitals. Above the mirror has a central entablature with carved foliate decoration from which acanthus leaves rise up to support a classical urn containing carved wheatsheafs and flowers. From each arm of the urn are boldly draped ribbon tied swags.
