The bookcase has a broken arch pediment above a moulded cornice with a central classical door with pilasters and cross-banded arch flanked by two further doors. Each of the doors has gilt mesh and encloses wooden shelves.

Below, the bookcase has two short and three long drawers to the central section and a paneled cupboard door to each side. The bookcase retains its original handles and escutcheons and is a very good colour and excellent quality.
