This elegantly proportioned bookcase has a broken arch pediment with dentil moulding and a superbly carved cartouche. Below, the cabinet has glazed doors and has been lined with silk and lit. The cabinet sits on a cupboard base with well figured table section which has developed a rich patination, below which are two paneled cupboard doors which are a beautiful faded colour. The bookcase retains its original bracket feet.
